Have you ever heard of this one?
Bought my 2003 SC back in April of last year-08. When I first got it everything was great and I noticed the pick up was very satisfying. Everything stayed the same for almost 1 year ...... I know quite a bit about cars and raced Cascar here in Canada. Anyway...last week on a monday I got in the car as usual to go my daily runs to the city to see clients (marketing company) and I hit the throttle all the way to pass somone and like a bat out of hell .... never experienced this level of torque ever the car picked up and really took off!!
I swear it never went like this before. I have put 40,000 miles on the car in one year so it's not like I drove it once in a while and never noticed. What could this be?
Was it something not all there with the transmisison before and now what ever it is has now kicked in?
If anyone has an answer I would be really happy to hear it. As of yet it still has the gusto.... and I actually acn't beleive how much quicker it is...
Thanks for any info

for me, I've experienced the kind a radical torque you talk about by switching to the PWR mode. what a difference of off-the-line performance (without messing with after market gear). and as I've documented, the mgp is not affected.

Was your last gas fill-up @ a gas station you never used before?
It's a long-shot, but if you always buy gas at the same station or same company's stations, you may have been using a lower-octane or inferior-blend fuel than others.... it can make a noticeable difference in your cars pickup-and-go. The octane-label on the pump isn't always accurate....
