Default Couldn't Let Her Go? 2002 SC430 *Not* for sale?

Well, funny story for you all. I have been trying on and off to sell my 2002 SC430 and have had lots of interest. It is a great car, great color combo with super low miles and a few nice mods/updates. Mostly older women and older men want to buy. I am 34 and thirsty as hell for a faster, more fun car, but for some reason cannot pull the trigger on letting her go. I am looking at Boxsters, M3 convertibles and other cars but nothing can compare to the comfort, style, classiness and boredom I get with the SC430 for some reason! I've been very frustrated with the lack of sensible mods for real HP gain and the boredom I get when I drive her. I have owned S2000's G35's, 300z TT, RX-7's and other fast sporty cars and felt like I've had my fill and wanted to get something smoother. After three years, I am bored.

2002 Absolute Red/Ecru/Birdseye 28k miles. Boring. Why?

If I could only do the 6speed Supra tranny/drivetrain switch I would be happy forever, but I haven't found anyone that's been successful on a SC430 yet.

I had a buyer, he was ready to wire me the money today when I had an out-of-body experience with my car! She actually talked to me!

So, I go to my reasons not to get rid of the SC430:

Reason # 1: My 3 and a half year old son says, "daddy, I love the Lexus", don't get rid of it.

Reason # 2: Trash night. Sunday night. I go out to the garage and put out the trash and I SWEAR she looked at me as if to say "don't get rid of me" and I couldn't do it.

Reason # 3: Literally I saw more than ten SC430's driving around in Dallas (sunny 75 degree day) the other day. Bad news: they were all 50+ chicks

Reason # 4: Some 50+ year old chicks are hot cougars! he he

Reason # 5: Nice comfortable, reliable cruiser with a backseat perfect for a family convertible that isn't too soft. After all, it's not a Sebring or Solara or G6 or CLK, it's a little more unique and classy than those, RIGHT????

So...Alexa (her name) stays in the garage a little longer. I don't know how much longer, but she seemed to run extra fast today later after I decided not to let her go. Funny, huh?

And they say cars don't have feelings!

I think it's a plus that chicks like the car = lots of chick-looks while cruising. what could be better. good decision to keep her. before I bought my 04 I started with the boxster, but after squeezing into it I kept looking at 'em all and landed with the 430. very happy for the long run. it's soon to become a classic.

HOW ABOUT TRADING HER FOR A NEWER SC 06+, I THINK THAT WOULD BE YOUR BETTER WAY OUT OF IT AND CHOOSE A NEWER COLOR.

i would love to get a 06+ with the bluetooth and updated nav system and manumatic shifting, but I love the absolutely red color. I do not like the burgandy. I am a red guy for some reason. I have always gotten red for my sports cars. If I could find a sweet deal on a 2006+ in another color, I may consider, but those are all going for $35k+.
