I had a blowout and replaced the blown out wheel with the stock wheel. My guess is the stock wheel wasnt torqued properly causing the lugnuts to loosen up and wreck havoc on the studs. Could have turned out really bad if I was driving at highway speeds when this happened.

OK, The way you would do this is jack the car up and secure it on good sturdy jack stands. Remove the wheel of course and spray the studs that you want to remove with a little bit of penetrating oil like PB Buster....Great stuff. Or wd40. Let it sit for maybe five minutes and then get a heavy sledge hammer. The bigger and heavier that it is, the easier the studs will come out. Take aim directly at the top of the stud and give it a good wack! They should pop right out of the hub toward the inside of the car. They are only press fitted in the holes so you are just basically pushing them out with the force of the big Hammer. Again a regular hammer will not do it...it has to be one that has mass behind it. Once they are out, put a new one in the hole and pull it towards you as far as you can. Then, the way you press them back into the hub can be done by using a few nuts that are too big to be used on the studs but not too big to be sloppy. Slide like two of them onto the stud to use as spacers and then screw your lugnut tight onto them. As you tighten the lugnut, you will be pulling the stud into the hub. Once you think that you have them in all the way, put your wheel back on the car and take it for a short drive. Once you get back, retighted the wheel again! Drive for a few days and check it one last time.....Thats it! It is real easy but it is kind of scary to wack those studs! GL!

For safety, cover the remaining lugs with lugnuts when hammering
