Default Does the SC430's blonde bird's eye maple equal the RX330's?

So, do both cars share the same gold/yellow wood color?

Or are they different?

They are different, the one in the sc is lighter. I had this in my 05 then when I got my 06 I got the dark brown color because it was discontinued. I wonder how much it would cost to swap out all the trim? The steering wheel is probably the expensive part and would make it not worth it.

I looked up a few items and did a very rough calculation, MSRP of all the wood pieces added together is roughly $10k + tax.

hope you're sitting down !! about 4400 with parts and labor at my dealer ($95 per flat rate labor) Iown a 2004 RX and the birds eye maple is darker and much richer looking, wish they had used the same supplier for the SC's.

You mean for the RX?

All the wood pieces add up to be over $10k new from Lexus for the SC430 from my research. And that is only for the parts, no labor.

Yup. More expensive for the SC430 because there is a lot more wood, especially the ones attached to the mechanisms of the Nav and Audio doors that open/close automatically...

The standard SC430 has more wood then the base model Bentley Continental GT, that is crazy! There is no wood on the Bentley's door panel, steering wheel or shifter! I love the SC430, offer so much for such reasonable price!

Everything is leather wrapped in all the Bentleys though, where there are a few plastic pieces left in the SC430.

But hey, the SC430 is $100k~$300k cheaper!
