Need help w/ picking tires

what's up, Talwang.
so i've broken the bridgestones in and my comments on them are as follows:
Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position tires:
Ultra-High Performance All Season
245/40/R18
93W
400 AA A (UTQG)
- very soft and plush ride
- cornering is not as agressive as Michelins but better other other brands
- noise level is extremely low if not at all (w/ windows rolled all the way up)
- flat surfaces are excellent
- cracked surfaces will be noticed slightly in the ride due to the low-profile tires
- grip is excellent in dry/wet conditions
overall, this tire has an all-around purpose w/out sacraficing any of the luxury feel of the car.
peace...

I have the 960's on my car and they are quiet and ride nice bu don't seem to last very long. However, part of the blame is my fault for never checking the air pressure.
I got a set of Michelin Pilot AS for wifeys car and I am impressed with the ride and performance. They are rated for 40K miles too. I vote for these.

Installed 960 after reading from Tire Rack. Ordered from and installed by Discount Tire. Could not get a good balance. Within 2 weeks it was determined 3 of the 4 were out of round. Having lost all confidence in Bridgestone High Performance tires, I switched all 4 Bridgestones to Michelin Pilot Plus. Balanced perfectly. Now running smooth with no problems. Discount Tire was great to work with.

yokohama s.drives are great! Read the reviews...prices and tread pattern are sweet. Long lasting. All the cars on the reviews are high performance cars that are luxury...A8's, 350Z's, Boxsters MBZ's, etc.
285/30/20 for $203 each plus $40 rebate at www.tires.com (Discount tire)
for the rear
and
245/40/20 for $153 each (you would use the $40 rebate for the entire set)
Total cost about $800 plus tax, this includes the rebate, lifetime balancing, rotate, tire disposal fees, etc etc.
If you are taking dinner plates off, you can waive the $5.00 disposal fee each and may get the entire deal under $800!
I am putting these on my next SC coming soon! Can't wait.
