Turns out, there is a very nice balance inside. The black of the dash, the silver of the center console equipment, the garnet maple trim and wheel along with the red leather looking our over a silver with gold flake hood, quite nice.
I don't expect you to understand, because you're not sitting it it, but I can tell you that you really would be surprised

Gang-I know for a FACT that the Lexus Platinum Warranty (the one you have to buy, not the "certified" that comes with a CPO car) is transferrable for a $50.00 fee. I recently was about to sell my SC (see my sad story, I couldn't let her go!) and I looked into it by reading my original literature, calling the dealer and calling the LFS office to confirm three different ways. $50.00 to transfer---that's all it takes. Good at all Lexus dealers. Hope this settles it. I can e-mail you the documents if you need them-PM me.

So I don't get it. This isn't something that should be so confusing, yet it is.

I'm with you I had always heard that Lexus Extended Warranty was not tranferable, but since it's a Sales Feature I dug out my paperwork and called Lexus to confirm whether my 5yr/100K mile Lexus Platinum Warranty was transferable. I gave them the agreement number and they confirmed it was not transferable. I also asked if a new Buyer could buy his/her own Extended Warranty and again was told no. I able, however able to cancel it and receive a pro-rata refund. I think I paid $1400 for it.
Sure would like a Lexus Representative to jump on here and explain
