If the wood is protected by a clear coat, you arent working on wood. Right?
I was thinking the same thing. I don't believe any product is actually penetrating the wood, therefore, there is no need to treat (polish) it as wood.
It's going to look the same if you do nothing at all. All that should be required is to wipe the dust off of it with a damp towel.
