Thinking of buying a SC430 - tips?
So im thinking about buying a SC430
i know alot about toyotas but never owned a SC
im thinking of buying a 2002 used one
what should i be looking out for? and what should i be preparing for? are there usual problems that i should be aware of?

I own a 2003 and I love the car !! You can find a nice one on EBAY for 18-20k. If it comes with run flats change to regular tires as soon as you can. Stay on this forum and all your questio ns will be answered. You ask what should you be prepared for, AN AWFUL LOT OF COMPLIMENTS AND A GREAT OWNERSHIP EXPERIENCE !! good luck and welcome to our forum!

do a carfax on any car you're serious about.
it'll give you the car's history and piece of mind (if title, accident report and maintenance are clean).
try the website, autotrader.com
you can dial in what's available in your area, so you can do test drives.

Do an AutoCheck at www.autocheck.com
It will also check for bent frame-- something that carfax can't do. And it's cheaper!
Blown speakers are a norm for these models.
