Default newbie to wheels

i wanna get knew wheels for my SC, but i really dont know anything about them.
i found these set of wheels on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...fvi%3D1&_rdc=1

the price is really cheap, so im guessing they might be complete crap.
but lets see what you guys think.
i dont see any info in the listing about the offset or anything like that.
how can i know if itll fit?
all it says that they brand is ADR ... is that a good brand?
im wondering, will they fit? will they look like they fit right?
you guys think this'll work? if yes, what size tires would be a good match?

thanks in advance.

There's a great sticky at the top of the page by Rominl. A lot of your questions are answered there.
Wheels are a subjective thing - what looks good to you may not appeal to someone else.

Stock Lexus wheels are hub-centric, while many after market wheels are lug centric. It's a minor point, but I noticed a huge improvement in the ride when I took aftermarket wheels off and went with some G-spiders.
Have fun looking!

i'd keep an eye on the used wheels classifieds. you can get higher end wheels fairly cheap. maybe not quite this cheap. but you get what you pay for.

that ebay listing says 19x8.5 w/ 20 offset. i don't think they will look right since the front is too aggressive, while the rear is too conservative (just following rominl's chart).

you have a beautiful car, she deserves better wheels imho.

Those wheels would look extremely "generic" on the car. The size, design, finish and fitment are all very nondescript.

The color combination of your car is awesome, I would vote for a better wheel / tire combo.

You can PM me with your basic parameters (preferred size, style, finish, budget) and I'd be glad to make some suggestions for you!

I don't think you're going to find anything better than this. I'd make an offer of $800.00 for them and see what they say. They were selling them for $756.00 about a month ago as part of a special for CL members. Lexus put this wheel on their Pebble Beach editions a few years ago, so it's made for the car.

I've seen the G-spiders on a white SC and they look fantastic.

keep an eye out for wheels off an sc430. that'll most likely give you the best fitment. also, you might check the G35 forums too. their fitment is pretty close. they tend to go a little more aggressive than most sc owners. but not too aggressive to fit right.

Here's the promo picture of the wheels (G-Spiders) they put on the 2007 PB edition. I just don't think it gets any better than this, especially for the price.

please please please dont get those wheels in your 1st post....you drive a Lexus like someone else said..."you get what you pay for.."
i agree with others... look for a used/quality set in the classifieds if your on somewhat of a budget....and if your not...those Vossen's are beautiful....i periodically check their site and just drool/dream...
whatever you do... do it right the 1st time...
