Default 1st Gen Question about 2nd Gen Bluetooth on 2006 and up cars

Hey gang, easy question for you all...

I heard that 2006 and up SC's have bluetooth, but in looking at all the pics on the net, I cannot see any button for it. Our Rx that had bluetooth had a phone button on the steering wheel, and our LX did as well.

Is this true that SC's have bluetooth and where is it?

Anyone have good experience with Iphone 3G on it?

Thanks!

Backside of the steering wheel. Upper half of the button is NAV; lower half is Bluetooth.

transfer phone books from the phone to lexus system? that proves to be a very tough task, even on recent models

You can sync your contacts from an AT&T phone, but only one at a time. I forget whether its push or pull, but it can be done. Did mine sitting while waiting for a soccer practice to end. Bluetooth works great...I hated wearing a headset.

It is phone dependent, not carrier dependent. I have ATT and was able to sync my entire phone book in one action (Nokia N50). You phone needs to have some sort of option to "select all contacts" or "mark all contacts." Then an option to send via bluetooth.

correct. it's phone depending and lexus has been very weak on this. i really don't understand why lexus has to make it a transfer of phone book to the car and not use the car to access the phone like bmw

Is there an upgrade to go from the earlier models to the Bluetooth model? (Mine is a '02.)
