Lexus gs coilovers on sc430??
I was leafing through some earlier posts and some ppl said you can mount or they have mounted GS coilovers on an SC430.
1. is this legit?
2. are the mounts the same?
3. are we talking the 2001-2005 GS300/GS400? or the 2005-2009 GS300-430?
any help is appreciated. and i appreciate your responses.
thanks
joe

Also need some info on this subject. I have an 04 SC and would like to lower it, but I really don't want the bother of the adjustable coilovers. Is there a set up to do this with regular shocks (struts). Haven't been able to figure out which the car has. I have been to some sites and they seem to go both ways. Thanks in advance for any and all help.

does anyone else know about putting GS coilovers on an SC430? Ive also seen the coilover for the new GS300 and GS430 is the same coiolver used on the new IS250's (most suspension companies have the same part number) and is VERY similar to the old one. which also begs the question, "can the IS250 coilovers fit the SC430"?
Let me know what you know
thanks

Cliff notes are as follows;
95-05 GS shock & spring combos will not work with our SC's, the rear shocks will be too long.
98-05 GS Coilover setups will work, how many more people do you need to confirm it? 98-05 GS 3/400 coilovers will fit our SC's
Now you are all on your own with the IS idea, so good luck on that!

They will fit though the spring rates are different. I can say that when I installed my Bilstein PSS from my GS on the SC the ride just was not right. My head would actually hit the roof repeatedly on the 10 freeway out here. It would probably be a funny site if the top was down.
Cannot comment on using GS Teins on the SC but others here state it works fine.
