Spoke too soon checked the top friday and it was doing the exact same thing, then it didnt want to close took 4 tries to close it. took it back to lee myles sat morning. They got the cable back in place more permanately than before. they told me it might be one of the motors binding up that is causing too much stress on the cable that pops it off of its clip. Hopefully they fixed it for good this time, fingers crossed. by the way they didn't charge me this time. they've been really good to us. fyi ther'e located in bohemia N.Y. Vets Memorial hwy
