Car dynoed yesterday with Injen intake installed.....picked up 2hp!!! but sounds great. Also did a pull with muffler disconnected.....reult= ZERO power gain!!

Sooooo some of these claims of 30-40hp gains with intake and catback exhaust additions are pure fantasy !!!!

Oh, I know this will bring all the Bull****ers out of the woodwork with their claims but I expect that. These types have been around hot rodding forever.

sure a CAT-BACK exhaust gains some but removing mufflers? errr... yea..

Who said the injen intake will net you 30-40 hp? Also, dod you reset the ecu and drive around a bit. Important to do after any mod.

Also, a dyno thread is worthless without a scan of the dyno sheet. Before and after if you please.

Good info, and not surprising in the least. There are so many absurd marketing claims made about intake and exhaust power gains, and it's hilarious how so many gullible people believe them, then start crying when someone calls BS on it.

15 minutes later his car had about 30 of those vents on it.

He then photo-dynoed it, and got the 40HP gain...LOL

I had a loss of about 20 HP with the injen intake on. So I took it off.
