"Is that the new IS convertible?"
Scenario: I'm driving with the top down. A motorcyclist passes me (very nice motorcycle; it's a 2003 Ducati 998 Matrix Reloaded Special Edition, dark green; matched my car's color; I love it!!!). It slows down and takes a good look at me. We both reach a red light. He stops right beside me.
Duc Rider: Hey, nice car!
Me: Thanks, man.
Duc Rider: Is that the new IS convertible?
Me: No. It's a different model. This one's been around since 2002.
Duc Rider: Really? That's a nice looking car. Looks brand new!
Me: Thanks! I like it better than the new IS convertible. I test rode it this past weekend.
Duc Rider: Really? I have to check 'em out then. (light turns green)
Me: Cool. Ride safe.
Duc Rider: Thanks! (flies off)
Me: (shouts) NICE BIKE!!!
Lesson learned: Ducati riders are awesome!!!

Me: No. It's a different model. This one's been around since 2002.
