The radio on my sc started acting up today. Everytime i try to load a cd into the changer, it takes it in and then automatically ejects it. My radio isn't displaying any error messages. Has anyone had any similar problems or happen to know of any fixes for this issue? I'm hoping this isn't going to be one of those problems that ends up with the dealer charging me hundreds of dollars to repair or replace. Let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

A couple of comments.
Are there any other discs in there? One of those may be a troublesome disc causing it to reject any further insertions.
Is the CD you are trying to insert an original CD or a CDR or a CD with a label on it? Our changer is sensitive to "overly thick" CDs and will reject them. It could be worse, you could get a thicker one to insert and it can then get jammed. (Trust me on that one. They had to remove my radio and send it in to get the CDs out.)

My disc changer is empty. I've tried inserting recordable discs that have previously worked, as well as original cds. For some reason, it just keeps spitting them out.

I had this happen to my CD player in a 1990 Acura Legend coupe. It was only occasional at first, and then it got worse. I wound up having to get a whole new CD player.
I'm having trouble with my CD player right now, too. It's skipping, but I'm hoping it's because the disc I was using was a CD-R. I'll try some real CD's tomorrow. I'm hoping that will solve the problem. No telling what replacing the entire unit would cost. I wouldn't buy one, I know that. It would be the radio or the iPod all the time for me.

If your player is empty, you've definitely got problems. Make sure that the CD is clean and try again. If no luck, are you still covered by your warranty?
TooCool
If your player is skipping, it could be because it is a CDR or it could be because it has scratches or smudges on it. Try cleaning the CD first.
You can both clean the CD by getting it wet and wiping it down with a soft cotton cloth. Wipe from the outside edge to the center, going all around the CD. (Obviously, this is on the recorded side, not the label side.) Make sure that it is dry before re-inserting it back into your player.
