I have my Lexus TPMS disabled and will replace it with the Orange Electronics system when the Pirelli's wear out in the next year.
The stock Lexus wheels I have leak around the rim. I check my tire pressure every week and use a Black and Decker Air Station (120 VAC powered tire compressor) that I picked up at Lowes for less than $50. Takes 10 minutes. Cheap insurance until I get the new TPMS.
Good Luck!

Lead Lap
tfeni, in the FWIW category, I thought that I had bad tires or rims also and had to air up my tires monthly. I found out that it was my sensors. When I bought new tires through DTC, I had them put in the new kits on the TPMs and that solved the problem. I almost never have to put air in my tires now. So unless you know from bubble tests that air is leaking out from your rims, you might check your sensors. Those kits were cheap ($5 or $10 per sensor, IIRC).
