I have read the thread on the stuck Nav door and pulled the navigation out. All the screws were there and tight. The door was on track and moved by hand in its tracks. The system works fine, except for tilt and close. Close will shut the nav off and open will turn it on. It is tilted out and stuck. If I move the door by hand it will jump its track when it gets to the nav screen because of being tilted out. The only thing I can think of is the electric motor. I think lexus said about $2000 plus $500 for door. It is really just cosmetic, but it would be nice to close.
Any one with the same problem? Any input would be great. Thank you all!

Sounds like it, but did you check all the connections, etc. when you had the unit pulled out? There could be an unplugged/loose connector or there may even be a fuse involved... not sure.
If you have to spend big bucks to replace it, there's usually a couple for sale on ebay for $350-550 including the screen, door, motor, etc. You can swap your door for another if you buy one that has a different color wood than yours.
GL with it.

The connections all looked tight and I can not find any fuses that are bad. Number 29 a 5 ampere is the only one for the navigation. If it was bad, the whole system would be down. I will look at ebay, thanks.

I recently ran into this issue and after some inspecting came across a bad surface mount resister and zion diode on the nav door circuit board which I ordered and replaced for under $11.00. Works like a charm. Trace the wires from the nav door to the black little box, pop the top and inspect the board underneath provided the problem is not elsewhere. This board controls the tilt, open, and close of the nav door. PM me with you email for a pic in case you need it.
