Check Engine Light on SC430

Got the check engine light earlier this week; I'm about 2 hours from my dealer and haven't had a chance to have the code read by the dealer's computer. Has anyone else gotten the check engine light? Inevitably, it's some emissions issue.
Per chance, does anyone know how to read out the codes from the OBD II? On some cars, you can execute a specific key sequence and the light will flash a pattern corresponding to the stored problem. It would be handy if someone who has the service manuals for the SC430 could post a summary of the procedure and codes (yeah, fat chance....)

Just a shot in the dark, but have you had a lot of rain lately?
I know of some people who drove in heavy rain or hit a big puddle, and get water in the oxygen sensor, which would affect emissions and could set off the Check Engine light.
If this is the case, it could clear up after a few dry days and some hard acceleration.
