So yeah I go to my car only to find the top chrome strip "removed" from the hood of my car. The chrome bar just above the grille.......Nice way to start my upcoming vacation/ wedding/ birthday. Well anyway, I can't imagine this piece being expensive. Any suggestions on where to look aside from the stealership? Thanx guys.......Enjoy your holiday weekend.

Mine just recently fell off as I was driving...I thought I ran over something and it flew up over my windshield, only to realize later after I parked and came back to my car that the piece was off of MY car.

That being said, has anybody been able to find one of these cheaper than MSRP? Don't feel like paying 80 bucks for this piece of plastic...

I'm sure that the Sewell part will be perfect, but if you shop ebay with some patience, my experience is that you can save from 50% to 80%. I think that ebay is particularly good for trim parts. Sewell is a good supplier, but they sure charge "what the traffic will bear."

My recent experience with Sewell was a hugh discount, thanks to membership here, over all of the ebay vendors except for one who had my needed tail light assembly used for a little cheaper. I went new with Sewell instead of dealing with an unknown seller!
