i don't think runflats are going to prevent you from bending rims. if you're on 18" wheels, you shouldn't have any problems unless your tires are almost flat or you hit something very hard. especially if they're stock steel wheels. i'm on 20" aluminum wheels. a nasty pothole will dent them. but normal driving isn't a problem. also, you don't have to replace a bent wheel. you can have them repaired for about $100 per wheel. steel is actually very easy to repair.

Do tell! Don't want to keep buying stock rims. I get the ones from the 2007 SC for my 2003. Who fixes them?

if you're in socal i'm sure some of the local members can recommend a good shop. if no one chimes in, ask in your regional forum.
