Default Front & Rear wheel opening Moulding

Does anyone happen to know where I can get the single piece of wheel opening moulding that takes no screws and appears it snaps on. Not to confuse it with the moulding that is shown in the repair manual drawings that takes 5 screws to fasten to the wheel opening. It is like a continuation only it goes over the front bumper (front) and rear bumper (back). This would be for a 03 SC. I have them on my 02 so I know they exist, but Lexus and another body shop couldn't find them.
If someone has the correct part number or knows where I can get them, please let me know.

(I hope I explained it well enough)

Thanks,

lar

Default I'll try......

Front & Rear wheel opening Moulding-front-right-of-02.jpg

Talwang, here's a pix of the 02. The 03 is identical, but doesn't have it. There seems to be an indention for the piece and there is no screws to hold it so thought maybe it clips over the inner flange. The other piece called "wheel opening mold" has 5 screws to hold it in place.

Thanks for your help.

are you sure that piece can be separated from bumper?

It seems to be part of the bumper unpainted by Lexus for aesthetic purpose.

After looking at it again.....guess it could be painted. Duh! No wonder I couldn't find a part for it. It sure matches the black plastic molding really well. Do you happen to know the paint color? Now I'm not sure I want to paint it.

Sorry to put you through looking that up for me. Sometimes I feel like a nut...lol

Thanks Talwang.

i think one of your front bumpers has been repainted before.

there is no paint code for the black portion.
it is the original color of the oem bumper.

a brand new oem bumper (unpainted, ready to paint) looks like this.

I see that now. Someone must have painted all four bumpers on the 02 if it didn't come like that. (I bought it used as I did the 03) I recently picked up the 03 in lieu of the ISC. ISC is nice, but it's not no where near the SC430 even after you add all the extras.
(my opinion of course)
I'm surprised the guy at the auto repair didn't notice it was paint. It looks identical to the blk molding. We both figured it was clipped onto the bumper flange. I think I prefer for it to be black all the way around, but me painting a curve like that would be somewhat questionable.

Only other thing so far on the 03 is the little door over the radio. It doesn't work, but haven't had time to research. Hope it' the swich.

Thanks again for your help,
