Yeah, but the dealer moved a Boxster he'd been carrying. Even moving a car at cost means the dealer's not carrying it and maybe he's doing the financing. Plus two happy customers. Sounds like a win-win for all.

I've been looking at the Boxsters and Caymans. I noticed your car is not the "S" version, and one of my main motivators is to get more performance than the SC430.
I wasn't even considering non-"S" cars, but you seem happy with the performance of yours.
I had also read the the stereo's were somewhat anemic, and you commented that you're unhappy with yours. I think there was a Bose option, and I was wondering if you considered that.
Check out Planet Porsche for comments. If I was going to do over I would delete the stereo and go aftermarket.

As I understand, the Bosche system uses a fiber optic system that makes for problems if you want to make changes.

It also looks like the Porsche Blue Tooth is not compatible w/ I phone phone book.

I am very surprised at the Stereo electronics interface of the car. Seems strange since the Germans think they're so hi-tech

As to the S vs Non-S. The S has ~40 more HP. Take both for a drive.
I am very happy with the acceleration on the non-S, unless you're taking it to the track I don't think it's a big deal. I believe that the handling characteristics are pretty much the same.

Try one you'll like it, as they say "like no other"

It's a totally different ride from the SC
