Personally I think there is too much fighting that goes on in SC300/400 forum from the times that I have ventured in there, but I could be way off base.. I voted "NO" but to be honest you could merge them since we don't generate alot of posts here.. So from that aspect it is a good idea..

I think it would be better to keep them seperate IMO. I have an SC430 and a SC400. If they were merged together again you would have to read through each thread to find info on your particular model. I like being able to go to the 430 or 300/400 forum depending on what info or questions I may have/need. As the amount of people with SC430's grow, I think two seperate forums would be best.

They are very different models - with totally different issues and threads. I would be much less interested if I had to weed through SC400 stuff to get to stuff about my new 430.

I love the SC400 - I had one of the first 10 years ago - ordered before car was officially announced - but I am not that intereseted in reading about it now.

Sorta like merging the RX and LX forums...doesn't make sense to me.

That is actually a Smart Idea, if the GS430/400/300 aren't serperate, why should the SC's be seperate, it would probably be better, because u figure someone may know something about the SC430, but only goes into the SC400/300 forum, and as far as looking through everything, it's not that hard, u could either use the search button, or u could just scroll back through the threads which would only take like ten minutes to look over a months worth of threads

i voted no because like others said, they are 2 totally different cars. if they were similar then i wouldve voted yes. for instance, if this poll was for a gs400/430, then i wouldve voted yes.
dont get me wrong, i love the sc400 also, imo its a very very nice looking car. i was considering it for awhile too....

I say leave them seperate, they are 2 totally different cars. Do not get me wrong, I love the SC400, I owned 2 of them, loved them from start to finish. I just think that it would be better to have 2 different forums.
In the past I have seen forums with similar cars (like the SC300 and SC400) and there always seems to be a lot of off topic silly arguments about who's car is better. This is only my opinion.

I come here precisely because it is a site devoted to my very special car.

If I had to sort through other models to find things relevant to me I frankly wouldn't bother coming!

as much as I like the older car i am not interested in anything about them and havent looked in any of the other model forums ever.

Not a good idea....seems to be a lot of SC400 owners not being able to relate with the SC430 owners. I happen to like things the way they are. The people that have an SC430 seem to have better, more specific posts. This could be simply because a small few come into the 430 forum and dont have much to contribute to us. What is the harm in leaving them seperate?

Ok, points taken. The reason I ask this is because, like ShowYourGSLUV, the GS forums are not apart.

But if members want it apart, apart it will be.

I will leave the poll up for another week for some of our other SC430 members can view this poll and vote
