Nothing is offical yet, should know by the Tokyo Motor show in November. But so far the range is somewhere between $180k~$250k. From the way the spec of the car looks, it should be in that range. The spec is very similar to the Aston Martin DBS or almost a Ferrari 599 GTB.

And sounds like they will make a total of 500 units, it won't be a production car. This looks like a remake of the 1967 Toyota 2000GT. A limited quantity exotic car. I was thinking it would be cool if they call it a 5000GT.

2010 SC 430

For 2010, the SC 430 offers product enhancements and new advanced technologies that enhance the driving and ownership experience. Product enhancements include new 18-inch six-spoke wheels and side mirrors with puddle lamps. An updated standard navigation system offers a voice-command feature that allows hands-free use and provides easy-to-understand graphics and phone-number-based address recognition.

Also new for 2010, XM services are now available including NavTraffic and NavWeather (with complimentary 90-day trial subscription).

The standard Mark Levinson audio system features iPod/USB connectivity, auxiliary audio input, Bluetooth hands free phone, music streaming capabilities and satellite radio.

For 2010, the SC will adopt a new color, Costa Azul Mica, which replaces Tigereye Mica.

MSRP for the 2010 SC 430 will be $67,505, an increase of $700.

This is rather amazing when you consider the big thing GM is touting right now is the "Volt."

Hmm....that color is.....interesting. Looks like something I've seen in a Ford Escort.

If the LF-A Roadster uses a soft top then a possible next gen SC could be a lite version of the LF-A Roadster, hence the soft top.

Just speculating

There is no way the LF-A an Sc are sharing anything. THe LF-A is an aluminum/Carbon Fiber V-10 smaller than a 911 masterpiece of sports engineering.

The only hope is the tranny/brakes/engine makes it into other vehicle.s

Speculate no more. Official word has been publicized by Toyota.

The third generation SC is still in the works, and will most likely debut as a 2012 model.

The LF-A is completely different, to be renamed LF-L, to debut in October at the Tokyo Motor Show, and will arrive dealerships mid-late 2010 as a 2011 model.

What about decent speakers that don't need to be replaced?? For the price they want for the car, the sound system should be bulletproof!!

Yeah, it's pretty bad when a $50 speaker from Parts-Express is more reliable than a $350 Mark Levinson speaker.

They can say what they want about the Levinson system, but the best speaker system I've ever heard was an upgraded (factory) Boston Acoustics system in a Chrysler. You didn't have to worry about turning it up too loud; it was crystal clear and distortion-free, and handled anything you wanted (including the bass). It was a fantastic system. I'd give anything to have it in my 430.

Would the Boston Acoustic speakers fit and have the proper impedance for the ML system? If so, it may be worth checking into using those as replacements.
