i wouldn't let the heat scare you away from the black interior. i live in vegas and it hits 110-120 degrees during the peak of summer. my car has never been unbearably hot even after sitting in the sun all day. i have limo tint on the windows. and the AC is excellent. the interior is cool within a minute or so. i just wouldn't let it sit with the top down when it's over 100. then it will be pretty toasty.

fotch-great color combo! Certainly rare. I wanted the black in my absolutely red which is rare as well. Very very nice.

Scorpio74-

Awesome 2007 white on cappucino (that nice khaki color that was introduced in 2006) with only 17k miles in Houston at Cars-to-go. If you are interested I can help you get the history on it. It is beautiful, and I already contacted them earlier last week and it seemed like they would lean towards $35k-$37k perhaps, which is a STEAL! If you wanted to you could drive it for a few years and when the warranty is about to be up, you can always buy the lexus platinum warranty for about $1500-$1800 for another 3 years or up to 75k miles. Here is the link below. this car is sweet!

****minor damage reported on the cars to go vehicle*** that's why it's probably so cheap...carfax actually says it's minor damage and police report was filed in houston.

If that doesn't scare you, this is a great chance to get a steal! It wouldn't scare me unless there was frame/top/engine damage. Sometimes a quarter panel, front bumper assy, hood or rear bumper is all that's involved in an accident. The unknown is what can kill your curiousity though. You'd have to go see it in person. Great deal though!

There is another white on tan car (same as other two) in OK (Guthrie, which is about an hour north of Dallas) for $35k at John Vance Cadillac. I have talked to them on this one too. Great condition, 51k miles though, not sure if that's too much for you. no accidents and very clean.

scdroptop, thanks for looking out. I test drove a 2007 SGM/alabaster with 15k mi from an individual owner. Car is sweet. It has a crack on the upper corner driver side. Other than that, it's one sweet ride. What do you think the price should be?

is sgm gold? 15k miles...individual owner... if it needs tires: $39k. If it doesn't then $41 I've seen lots of 2007's for low to mid $40's.

I didn't know gold was an option...>I will check out some gold ones for you too

ahhh never mind...smokey granite mica is for sgm, right?

yeah, there is that one at northside for $46k cpo with 34k miles...nice car, but you really should buy no more than $41k.

if you would be willing to down to a 2006, there is a gorgeous one at Park Place lexus down the street from me. I sat in it and checked it out-fabulous car!

2006 43k miles $39k...will sell for around $34-$35k cpo of course

Sewell also has one...2006 cpo 24k $41...can sell for $36k probably. Talk to Mel Warren at sewell 214-353-2105, I have sent dozens of people to him and they have been very happy. I've done business with Mel for over ten years. A great guy.

If you want a GREAT deal...this is the deal of the century on a sgm...

2006 at a wholesaler (also down the street), I looked at it and sat in in...sgm with saddle, 36k miles (non cpo of course not at lexus dealer, but you can buy platinum warranty before 50k) for only $33k! I know they have been sitting on this car for 30 days and will probably take $30k here in dallas.

You don't like matador red mica at all do you ? Crest Cadillac has a 2006 with 50k for $29k asking...may let it go for like $27k.

Not only does it look great with the White Gold Crystal exterior, but living in an area know for red clay, no matter how careful you are it finds its way into your car's carpet, so the black carpet helps. However, like anything else it's what you like in the end that matters. But if you like the black interior go for it, you'll learn not to sit in traffic on a 90 degree day with the top down.

Good Luck with your search.
Hey fotch, your car is beautiful, nothing like buying a FL car that's been garaged !

scdroptop, I just don't see many 2006-2007 cars with the beautiful cappucino interiors. Are they rare?

I'd say that was pretty good. I paid $30K for my 2005 with 19K on it last November and I thought that was a damn good deal.

Think the name is camel officially. I think someone told me the new name was cappucino or the old one was or something. I looked up the color name in my 2007 book and it is called camel. When I think of the camel, I think of lighter, like ecru. Cappucino or really Frapaccino for you starbucks nerds like me would be the real proper color.

I have seen nothing but camel colored interiors on white and black 2006+ SC's lately!

Maybe that's not good...I wonder if people are not happy with them, or just right at the 36 month, 39mo lease expirations they had and are all turning them in right now.

I think the color is beautiful...much nicer than the saddle IMHO.
