I have to agree with jason702, not many people mod their rides, those that do usually go for new & bigger wheels. For the time being I went with chrome 5 stoke centers on the stock wheels. Waiting for the RF's to wearout, then I putting on g-spiders with regular tires. I never thought about putting them on another vehicle, cause I really don't like them. (Pie Plates) I was in another forum (for GTIs) before getting the SC I guess I should have stayed in that forum too.

very good point. well, maybe ill have a nice paint project to put together over the winter. the guy who sold the wheels to me (owns a pearl white sc430) was the one who told me he's seen them before. maybe he was just trying to get a sale. either way, im happy with the wheels.

edit: ill get mine posted up so you guys can see em on a jetta. if anyone really cares.

we are all car enthusiasts here, we just have different tastes. i happen to like lexus and some of the styling you lux guys go for. so thats why im here. if you guys dont like your wheels there are definitely people out there willing to buy them. drop on by a vw forum like vwvortex.com. and see what its all about. im pretty sure its the largest brand specific car forum on the internet.
Oh button it.

Why not ask what the "Corvette" world thinks or the Ferrari world thinks or the Mercedes world thinks?

It has nothing to do with "snob" SFB. This is a LEXUS forum, not a VW forum.

i never asked what you guys think. i just said the vw guys like your wheels. and that they are a hot commodity. improve your reading skills then come back and post some more snobby replies.

This is a Lexus forum, and he's commenting on Lexus wheels that get discussed here ad nauseum. Seems like a valid post to me, not to mention very interesting that something so ugly on one car can actually look pretty good on another.

nice car!

i didnt do anything to them.. they are still there as i got them, chrome "L". no reason to get rid of them, people are gonna ask what they are anyway. i definitely think they look better on a car with smaller arches, but your car looks very classy as is. i was kinda hoping that would carry over to my car.

^ exactly, and thats why i love you sc430 owners so much! lol

the tires are low profile, not the stock tires that came on them. size is 215/40/18. i had to keep the outer diameter the same as my 16" steeelies with balloon tires. and plus, it looks sweet!
