To answer martini3 about the houses in the in Tx and other dirty south houses, (his words not mine) that's because that's were the big bad wolf lives. And we all know what he can do to straw and wood houses.
hahaha In tx, we have all sorts of different types of houses...brick, hardies, stone, stucko...etc. All depends on how much you have $$$.
True about putting the clubs in the trunk. gs has more space than the sc, plus I like 4dr sport sedan.

I guess one day I'll have to look at a GS. When we went looking and got the ES, we starting looking at an IS to take the place of the 02 ES we had. It was just a little too small. Never gave the GS a second thought. Live and learn.

So the big bad wolf doesn't live down there! So it's the $$$ that make the difference. Then it's like retirement, it take $$$ not age to retire. They lied to me all these years about that too. Live and Learn again.

scdroptop, I guess you're still searching for that red/ecru combo hah??? Man, I was crusing in midtown tonite and saw one red sc430 02-05 model. It really stands out in the crowd. That was the first red one I saw in a long while. We kinda gave each other a nod and went our way. It felt different when you drive with the top down.
Wifie loves it and you know that's important!!!

Tell me about it. Learning is a lifetime process. You live and you learn. It never stops. One thing to keep in mind, NEVER give up your dream! I dreamed of the sc430 back in 2001 while I was a freshman in college.
During that time, I had the nissan 240sx 1989 with 120k mi. I initially thought that it would be impossible for me to own one. That's like 8 yrs ago but I NEVER gave up that dream. It took me 8 long years to get it. For some people, it may take less time, and for some others, it may take longer time. BUT as long as you don't give up, you'll GET it.
And for retirement, you're absolutely right! It takes $$$ to retire NOT age!
And I still live and learn

Learning process! Riding around with the top down, I have to learn and remember that the top "IS" down and I can't be yelling at the knuckleheads and the way they drive, or should I say don't drive. Some just don't have a clue. Watch them in the service areas, just the way they walk around, and they drive the same way. I guess they must have paid attention at some point in their lives, cause they did get a license. (I assume)

As far as dreams go, I always dreamed of a corvette, I was just about ready to buy a Z and my buddy said, you always wanted a vette, why are you going to settle for a Z, now is your chance, if not now, then when? He was right, I got the vette and was glad I did. Now I dream about getting better at golf. My how dreams change.

Thanks guys. I got this car for $35k b/c the guy wants Porche 911 Turbo. He's got lots of $$$, so he was happy to get rid of this sc430. For me, it's the best deal ever. I've looked at a 2007 sc430 20k mi. at the dealer and they wanted $47k.
At one particular dealer, they have the exact sc that I bought, 2007 sc430 SGM/black 18k mi. at $52,999.
So, I felt very lucky to own this 07 sc430

Had to bump this one.....Sweet rides my man! I'm on the market for a 3rd Gen GS to go with my SC also. Still torn between the 06 430 and the 07 350. In any case nice story and great color combo. Congrats to your hard work and subsequent success.

I feel ya. It's a tough choice bt. the 06 gs430 and the 07 gs350. Personally, I prefer the v8 power and the extra stuff that goes with the 430, like the sport suspension, you'll love it. The EBC for the brakes system gives you the extra braking power. The extra growl when you punch it. And of course, the badge gs430.
