Hi all,
I searched through CL and was able to add an Ipod/Iphone (3G) interface by using USA-spec pa15 Toy today.($139.00 ebay). Installation was less than 45 mins total. Thanks CL members I do not know how to post pictures
I now have PANDORA radio in my car via my Iphone

My next mod is most likely will be NAV-TV. Any one here with their past experience regarding this NAV-TV, where to hide it, how to install it, and difficulty? Though the site says it plug and play. I could not find where to plug & play. I suspect in the rear/trunk where the factory NAV/DVD is. Any expert out there, please advice....thanks

I have a NAVTool and it is essentially the same thing as NAVTV, basically gives your screen a video input option.

It is installed in the trunk, and it is "plug and play" for the video portion.
But you will need to splice or run a wire to get power to the unit.

So you can control the ipod functions from the steering wheel and it displays the song titles on the radio screen?

No, it does not display anything but AUX on the radio.
You CAN NOT CONTROL IPOD FUNCTIONS via STEERING WHEEL. It works just like a second CD changer. Your steering wheel function works the same. UP and DOWN etc...
It sounds very very good and very easy installation. If you have 05 or newer, text display would work accordning to the USAspec web.

So it does what the VAIS does but without charging the iPod and is probably cheaper. I use my iPod for both video and audio. I'm wondering if this interface gives you an video out from the iPod adaptor cable.

USA-spec...yes it does charge my Iphone 3g while listening to my priceless PANDORA .
NO, IT DOES NOT GIVE ME AN OPTION TO VIDEO OUT but it does have a set of RCA AUDIO INPUT for future expansion like adding NAV TOOL(no sound in nav tool). It works great for a week now!!!

Did you need the additional lexus harness or was it a direct fit with the standard harness? Plug and play install?
