Pebble Beach Cars...So Rare, So Nice!!!

I had the blue on the rims of my 2004 PB restored (when I had some rim rash fixed) and it sure is noticable and looks very cool (doesn't have pie plates). I really like my interior - Ecru with black wood trim! Also gave me the opportunity to get a PB cap to wear when top down and a PB keychain - there is a PB online store! Just fun stuff, but my reason for going PB was the color.

I was told by an Ebay Vendor that was selling a set of door sills for a NM edition blue lights. That he had bought as a spare . He had a NM edition and wanted to get a spare set. He told me that he was required by the Lexus parts dept to give them his VIN because they would only sell the NM special edition parts to actual NM edition owners. He later sold the car and had a spare brand new set with blue LEXUS in them. The reason they required the VIN was that since the car was such a limited edition Lexus wanted to keep the parts out of general circulation to be sure that they had these limited editions parts for actual owners of the NM model.

My 04 PB which is light blue with Ecru and black wood trim has the blue lit "Lexus" on door sills and it looks very cool.
I saw someone on this thread post a pic of a PB with Ecru, and it looks like black wood trim and black mats with PB logo in light color. Is it true another year PB (other than 04) has black wood trim? If so, what is the year and exterior color of that PB? Not sure why they don't offer the black wood trim as an option in other SCs - it looks so sharp - esp. with the Ecru and would with black and I assume with the red -but each person likes different looks.
I sure would rather the black PB mats vs. my Ecru PB mats since they would look sharp with my black wood trim and easier to care for and still have the PB logo which is subtle but I like my PB to have all the original badging. I think the black PB mats with red PB logo look sort of cool also - I had to cover my Ecru PB mats with a clear plastic protector that you can hardly see - but wouldn't need plastic with black mats. Ofcourse I sprayed my mats with protector but with Ecru each shoe mark seems to show and it was driving me crazy when I first got the car.
Also -the 04 PB came new with small black golf bag and small luggage piece I think.
