PHASE I - SC430 Backseat Conversion (Mini-Bar + Entertainment Center)
This will probably be the only SC430 of it's kind w/ this type of backseat conversion.
My vision is almost complete and I've been spending time working on my project. I'm halfway there but I don't think it'll take me another 2 years to complete. Maybe one.
The current set-up is just "temporary" where I have the glove-box conversion to a 10-12 stoogie humidor. The top visor holds only 2 wine glasses for now.
The back seat just holds 2 Martini glasses and a shaker on a glass mantle piece.
The key here is to incorporate all these elements into one storage area for easier access and quicker cocktail prep./mix time. The new backseat storage area will double in capacity and allow for the newly chrome polished pole to be inserted smack middle of the mini-bar counter top between the two back seats.
Here's my vision and "Trust Me", it will fit.
The technology has improved in the last few years w/ "home version and custom" pole assemby kits and staging/perfermance modules and lights. The key for a perfect fit in the SC430 back seating area will have to be a custom designed wooden box enclosure and bottom support (at least 50-80 lbs. of pressure). This is to apply direct downward gravitational force in order to stabilize the massive 6-8 foot pole from wobbling at the top.
The project will feature several functional assemblies such as:
-----------------------------------------------------------
- stabilized 6-8 foot portable polished chrome pole (standard 2 inch O.D.[outside diameter] This is standard in most clubs and salons worldwide.)
- 5 to 10 wine glass holder
- 5 to 8 bottle holder (375 ml or 750 ml)
- Matching "Burled Walnut" box humidor (stores 50-100 stoogies)
I'll post an update this project and provide pics and stuff later.
Well, it's time for me to go back inside the cave again.

Ahhhhh.....you see.....that's where the illusion comes into play.
I lift up the mini-bar/storage/pole set-up and "Voila".....back seats are still there.
No cutting, No ripping and No altercations w/ the existing back seats.
The leathers just too nice to mess that up.

Wow, it's been awhile since I (we) last heard from you. Nice project you got going there.
It's funny that our cars have the rear "seats" as small as they are because no one would ever dream about converting their rear seats into something like this. It's because our rear seats are so small that we can do something like this and get applauses

It would be cool to link the bar presentation to the motorized top, so when the top is up, it's concealed behind the seat or a cover, then when you lower the top, it magiacally appears in the back seat!! Probably impossible, but cool!
