No, I thought about it when I was replacing my key last week but decided that the switchblade format would take up too much room when it would be carried in my pocket. Cool keys though. The "coolness factor" is definitely there.

Final update!
I called up Davenport Lexus Service over on Inwood in Dallas, spoke to Craig Davenport, and he said just bring it in, he'd cut it for free. So went by there this morning before work and had it cut. Even though the key is about a centimeter longer than original, it works fine! I've got some service done in the past at Davenport, so I guess they cut my key for free to retain my future business.
And I looked at the switchblade too. It's $40 vs. $13 for the regular key, and then the bulkiness was gonna be an issue for me. I think it'd be cool for a week, then I'd get annoyed!

That's good to know for future needs. I'm glad you were able to get it handled. $13 for a new key is pretty hard to beat!

When I was looking around, I did notice a difference between listings and their prices if you used "flip" vs. "folding". "flip" brought me to the lower-priced item.
Cool that we both got our key issues addressed today.
