some updates for those of you following:

The 2005 navigation is REALLY NICE! But my home was built in late 2004/2005 and I need the 8.1 or 9.1 dvd! RATS!

The red seats are SUPER cool. I thought they would be too pimp or too flashy, but they are very cool. Oddly enough I saw two very nice sports cars today with black on red---a Porsche 911 Turbo Convertible and a Maserati Gran Tourismo. Both worth a lot more!

I'll be needing a couple of new covers for my keys...the L logo is faded and scratched so I found a few on eBay new for $14.99 for just the "back" which you just screw on.

This particular car is a bit louder than my 2002. Strange huh? No mods whatsoever. My 02 had intake and was quieter. Would a California car have a different CAT that would make it louder? I would think it would make it quieter because of the restrictions in CA? Has more of a throaty sound definitely more of a v-8 than the 2002 had...which was so silky smooth you had to stomp on it to hear the v-8 roar.

Got the homelink fixed. The lights did work, I was just at the wrong angle looking at them. You have to really get under them and look straight up.

Can't believe the amount of work (sorry to repeat this) that goes into certifying a car...they did the 30k service and then some...all filters, hoses, gaskets, fluids flushed, wipers, etc etc etc. Wow! The 3 year/100k plus what they do to certify it is a value.

Wheels still for sale in classifieds...yes, the center caps are gunmetal colored which are very unique styling. If I kept them, I'm a chromie-chrome guy so I would get the center caps in chrome. PM me or check out the classifieds for more info. Thx

My home was built in 2001 and it's still not on the 8.1 nav dvd. Even though they charge the big-bucks for these nav updates they don't make any attempt to check state and local building permits for new homes/businesses. I found out that You have to self-report your home to them by going to their web site.

You can self-report your new home here: http://mapreporter.navteq.com/dur-web-external/

The leather still has the lexus color section swatches on the seat and the passengers and drivers seat barely look like they were sat in...i mean BARELY any ripples at all!!!!

The exterior has some touch up spots that are not very good...they say not to buff out the pearl paint because it affects the speckles. Also, the lady that owned it before me dragged her heels against the bottom of the side skirt and there are marks there that I would too buff out if I could....I'll look into that.

Other issue I found was that the homelink's light doesn't work at all. I had this problem with my last SC oddly enough. I think they had to replace the module or the fuse...can't remember. Any tips on this? I will take to dealer for sure under CPO.

****I didn't realize that the PB had graphite colored logos. You can't really see them up against the black paint. In the sun, the car almost changes colors with the blue and silver speckles in it! Very cool.
+1, hope my next SC includes the Lexus color leather swatch, you are so lucky !!

I am most likely going to buy the first one...there are a TON on eBay for less ($6-$8) but they are used. I want a new shiny one!
