06 lights with the ECU are the way to go. Modern, clean, and functional. Any error indicators on the dash just bug me.

someone posted a link here about a year ago. maybe less. i'll try to find it when i have time later. as far as the steps, it's pretty easy:

1) drive to your nearest tint shop.

2) let them do the work

i was going to do it myself, but chickened out. the tint shop only charged me $30 and it was worth it. i watched him do it. looked like a pain in the *** getting all the bubbles out. took about an hour.

i couldn't find the link. if i remember right, it was off topic in a random thread. but my guess is the tint is all the same. i couldn't find any precut sheets on ebay for the sc430. but this guy probably has it if you write him. he sells red too, so i'm sure it's just a matter of cutting it.

or you could just buy the uncut sheets. they have to be trimmed a little anyway. but the precut sheets are probably a little easier to manage.

Did they tint the top and the bottom light or just the top?

If they did just the bottom light, can you notice a color diff with the top?

do you mean the top and bottom half of the taillight? they did both. it's a little darker shade of red than stock.

Whoops, yea, I meant if they tinted just the bottom portion of the rear taillight or both sections.

thanks for posting the nighttime pic.... Now i understand what all the fuss is about... Very Clean! It would be really hard for me to justify tho, If i ever did this mod it would be one of the last but.. so fresh.. so clean
