solman-bad *** garage man! Unreal. How many total SC's do you have? Do you have all the colors, or do you just collect the ones you want? Do you have a white motormax moving top convertible like your real one? Very very cool. Love the cases too!

Mine are just on my built in desk.

mrblister-i am disappointed! I thought FOR SURE you'd have a die cast SC museum with cars racing on a track with horns and luxlink installed!!! The bikes are sweet though...I'll cut you some slack!

Default Half Dozen

Hi scdroptop--Only 6 SC's so far, but looking to collect each color combo. Motormax is the best with folding top and opening doors and hood. I have a Welly that is White/ecru but trunk doesn't open. Also have Maisto Silver/ecru with opening hood, trunk, doors. The motormaxes are black/ecru, white/ecru, red/black, gold/ecru. I am a real fan of die cast but cringe on spending more than $20. The welly was won on ebay for only $7. I do have a friends who buys me nascar diecasts and spends over $100, I could see doing that myself. I would say my average is probably $25. You'd be surprized how many came from Kaybee toys in the $10-15 range. It is an attraction for all. Either a trip to memory lane or kids who don't want to go home. I keep a supply of oldies for their use so they dont get into the good stuff. Quite honestly, my SC was only a dream of mine until about 2 years ago when resale prices came down low enough to buy on a teachers salary. 02 with only 23K miles for $25K too hard to pass up-Cant believe my 01 PT cost almost as much (except New). Lots of PT die cast too. scdroptop-I really enjoy your posts. Your new purchase sounds like a lot of fun-good times!

Those of you in Southern California, be sure to read the Cars and Coffee thread. I am thinking Saturday Nov 7th.

azkaty-here are a couple of wet your whistle...MORE DETAILS on your new addition to the family!!! pics!!!

green is very hard to find, if you really want to find some sweet 1:18's you will need to look under "welly sc430", "motormax sc430", maisto sc430 put a space inbetween sc and 430 as well as check for "soarer" with any of those combinations as well as lexus die cast and lexus convertible. I also check all the ebay international sites too.

http://cgi.ebay.com/LEXUS-SC-430-1-7...item3356830dd1

http://cgi.ebay.com/REAL-X-TOYOTA-SO...item4ce7b15091

http://cgi.ebay.com/Die-Cast-scale-M...item3ca6e3dd63

http://cgi.ebay.com/1-43-TOYOTA-SOAR...item48354b3e0f

These are all smaller models, but I will put a search out for the big boy, 1:18 Welly. I have only seen one or two jade in this size. The blue are rare too. Oddly enough, I thought the twighlight amethyst pearl was super rare but I found a couple just now. Called black red or black cherry internationally. Interesting!
