Neiman Marcus sc430 blue neon sills are LED
I took a look at my NM sills They are all red with blue LEXUS logo. The bulbs are LED I can confirm that . They will only work with 12 volt polarity one way and not the other. It looks like you will have to remove the aluminum sill from the front of the plastic. If you wanted to change the color of your OEM LED I can see that
you will have to remove the sills metal tabs that are inserted through the red plastic frame that run along at approx 4 inch intervals this holds the sill in place on the plastic runner frame . You will have to be really carfull because the sill might bend real easy on removal. I thought you migh be able to with a razor knife open an area just behind where the LEXUS logo lights up. If you get access to that you could swap your oem bulbs to after market led blues, Of course you would have to replace the access door you made . Looks like a small screw into the panel you cut and then swivel the door back in place . Might work if your creative. enclosed are pictures. One picture of the LED lit up and one LED not lit.

The reason I wanted the NM sills . The red plastic matches my pimento red interior of my 2005 which had red lights looks like overkill. I thought the blue would look better . I think Iam right. I just figured I would wait until my OEM ones were scuffed up enough to the point I would change them. They came new and have the clear plastic protective removable tape on the length of the aluminum portion of the sill. Pretty when they are lit up. I did plug them in and look at them in the car. Just not ready to make the permanent switch . I guess I could pop them in and pop them out at will.
