Am I invisible?
OK I know this is crazy...but I am getting "cut off" way more often in the SC than any other car I have ever driven.
I don't know what the SC looks like in a side view mirror with the top down but this is getting out of hand. And since I am usually driving - shall we say "quickly" - its really starting to freak me out.
My car is Indigo blue so I don't think I am blending in to the horizon or the asphalt. But this just ain't right.

Knicksfan, could it be simple jealousy over your SC?
I haven't been cut off yet (only had the car for a few days), but there have been a few guys in cars like Acura Integras that seem like they wanna race. Foolish earthlings!
Of course, I'm still breaking the car in, so they'll have to wait a few hundred more miles...

I get cut off a lot and I'm driving a Black GS430 with 20's...dunno how people could miss it...then again, we have some STUPID driviers in California...and when you mix them with rain...forget 'bout it!

Sorry to bring in the ethereal, but...
1. Just like when a friend gets a new car, you see hundreds of them on the road. Same applies here for me: if I notice that someone has cut me off / failed to use their turn signal, it seems to happen several times that day.
2. A little kharmic shift goes a long way. I quit looking for it, so I don't see it anymore. Maybe it still happens, but I'm not seeing it.

hmmm...
I notice that I get cut off a lot in ANY nice, expensive somewhat flashy car (IE. my SC430, my 911, my former BMW Z3, etc.)
I almost NEVER get cut off in what I term 'winter beater' cars.
This last winter I drove a $500 1990 Toyota Celica that looked rather sad (some dents in it, rust, etc)...
...oddly enough, no one EVER cut me off with that car (it was white)....
...Could it be that folks KNOW you will not risk getting damage in an expensive/nice car and would rather not chance it with a 'dumpy' looking car?

I think it goes back to the "im looking for it so i see it" Could it be with a crappy car you just dont give a *****, but with the SC if anyone drives within 100 feet of your car you develop road rage. I dunno, seems like to be me they come in bunches...you'll have that one day where you get stuck behind every slow driver on earth (what I refer to as Bingo Nights) People definitely have a tendancy to hate nicer cars though, its much more fun seeing the Porsche pulled over on the side of the road. or the Land Rover who left his lights on in the parking lot...lots of giggles.
If you're are getting cut off, all the more reason to drive it like you stole it.

Great stuff!
Consider "Bingo Nights" officially stolen.
And "drive it like I stole it" is my normal condition.
Now if I could only get Geordie to get that repulsor beam working...
