New owner of 2002 with 27k miles, $20k, Utah.
Recently when starting the car after it's been sitting (hours or overnight), moving from Park to Reverse or Drive, or any gear results in a clank that seems to come from the rear axle area, and the car shudders back there at the same time.
Drove it to the Lexus dealer but the problem was gone, I assume as a result of being driven and warming up or fluids moving through?
Anyone have an idea or experience this? I'll take it in overnight so they can test it after it's been sitting, but thought I'd see if anyone had an idea.
Thanks

I have this brake problem where the car screeches like as if the brake pads are worn (they are all new) and after I drive the car for a few minutes the problem is gone the whole day...then it comes back again. I am unable to reproduce this for the dealership. I also recently started getting the brake light on in the mornings as well...
