Seat Removal
#2
Hi Dave, I don't have a diagram but I can tell you how to do it:
1) Adjust the seat bottom(s) completely forward and the seat back(s) completely upright.
2) Pop off a black plastic cover on the end of each seat chair rail using a screwdriver.
3) Remove the bolt located underneath each cover.
4) Adjust the seat bottom completely rearward and repeat steps 2 and 3.
5) Repeat 1-4 for the other seat if desired.
6) Disconnect the battery and wait a couple of minutes for the retained energy in the seat airbags to deplete.
5) Tilt the seat(s) backward and disconnect the attached cables on the bottom of the seat(s) by pressing in the latches and pulling to disconnect. (Sometimes I need a small screwdriver to persuade the connectors to separate.)
I find it easiest to remove the seats when the top is down. I grab the gap between the seat bottom and seat back and lift out. watch your back as they are fairly heavy and clumsy.
Simply reverse the above steps to reinstall.
I hope this helps.

I hope to do this today and paint the seats, so I'll try and post some pictures of before and after. I did the center console already and the drivers side armrest and have been very impressed. I have an 02 white/ecru and it definitely needed it.
