Default '04 Nav Override ?

I have tried the fixes, but my nav doesnt look like any of videos or pics.

Menu screen doesnt have the system options
Volume screen doesnt have the volume button

I have tried the top left bottom left etc with no luck.

I supposed you want my version of GPS?

Your '04 should be the same as my '03.

I do think it depends a little on your firmware version (I once saw an '02 with version 1.01 of the firmware and it looked COMPLETELY different than mine).

That being said...

If you've just started the car, don't hit the "I agree" button yet on the Lawyer screen.

If the car's already running and you're past the Lawyer screen, hit the Info hard-button and press "language"...should bring you back to the Lawyer screen.

While on this screen, imagine there are buttons in all 4 corners of the screen.

Press the upper-left corner of the screen
Press the lower-left corner of the screen
Press the upper-left corner of the screen (again)
Press the lower-left corner of the screen (again)
Press the lower-right corner of the screen

A menu should pop up with 10 (I think) options.

Press and hold "Override" for a couple of seconds. It should beep and then the "Override" button will change color.

DO NOT PRESS ANY OTHER BUTTONS ON THIS SCREEN!!!!!!!!

Then Press "OK".

Then Press the "Info" hard-button, press "Language" and press "I agree".

This works with the car stationary or when it's moving (when it's moving, teach your passenger to do it).

If this doesn't work, it's time to update your map DVD (you're probably running 6 year old maps now anyway).

Nice one it works with one slight change

Then Press "OK".

Then Press the "Info" hard-button, press "Language" and press "I agree".

Instead ...

Then Press "Back".

There is no OK on my screen.

BTW since you mentioned my old GPS, I found

http://www.sewellpartsonline.com/par...d=203920&all=Y

I believe this is the correct one- costs only $150 after rebate.
