Default Can 4 wheels and tires fit in our car?

Im heading out to buy a set of new rims and tires tomorrow. I cant stand the Run Flats any more! Does anyone know if you can fit an entire set of 4 stock wheels and tires (mounted) in the lexus sc430? Just want to know if I need to bring my wife with me to bring the stock set back with me?

yes 4 18's will fit,

one in the trunk
two in the back seats
one in the passenger seat

This was the only way I was able to do it

ps I would take 5-6 extra large heavy duty trash bags, I throw the tires in the bags so the interior doesn't get ruined

Were you able to drive with the top down?

Yes, if the wheels are mounted on the tires it is possible. I did it driving 2.5 hours to get wheels and tires. Like above, 1 in the trunk, 2 in the back seat (angled) and 1 in the front passenger seat also angled. It will work with the top up. Good luck!

Huh.... I just got new 20" wheels last month, but I didn't even bother to try putting them in the SC. I got my girlfriend to drive me back to the tire place, & we put them in her car. (I didn't think they would fit, plus I didn't want to subject my ecru interior to the dirt.)

Lexiss sc430, good call on the trash bags. The tire shop placed them in bags for me.

Good luck with the new wheels. Post pics if you can. (I plan on posting pics too, but I can't quite get it to work for me. I end up having to post links instead.)

I regularly fit all four 19" wheels/tires in the same manner as described above. Put them in the car w/top down, then close the top if you need to. Garbage bags are a must.

Good luck putting the top down with a full sized tire in the trunk, you be hearing a loud crank/clink/kaboom

I have the supra TT spare, the same dimensions as the OEM spare, and that thing clears the top by only a few (2in) inches.

I have ecru interior also and the trash bags help out tremendously, no worries there

Everytime I make a trip to Discount Tire I pick up some tire bags. They are huge and easily fit 20" and 22" tires. Keeps the interior clean!

And no, you cant fit a regular sized tire in the trunk and put the top down.

Yes but the tire shop I use provide the tire bags too, so I won't need to bring my own garbage bags ...
