Lightbulb Suggested Light Bulb Upgrades

Perhaps I slepted since then, but does anyone remember the Web Site that featured Optional Upgrades for the Bulbs on our Fog Lamps, Back-Up Lights,, and Interior Trunk Lights?

My SC is soon to go in for it's 5,000 Mile Service, and my Parts Department Manager seems to be striking out on finding appropriate Higher Powered Bulbs for these three areas, and I'd like to purchase them for Intallation by the Dealer, prior to the Service.

Any advice for me in regard to this "Bulb" issue would really be appreciated.

WJSOLOMON,

The fog light bulbs are H3, the back up lights are M-2 (Polarg) and the license plate lights are M-21 (Polarg). Please let us know if the dealer has an easy way to get to the parking lights in the upper corner of the headlight housing. I hope this helps.

Lightbulb LIGHT BULB SUGGESTIONS

Marty - Thanks for your prompt reply. My Parts Department doesn't seem to have a clue on where to outsource these puppies, so I thought that I would simply secure them myself over the Internet, prior to my Service Appointment.

Can you now lead me to the correct Manufacturer's Web Site(s) for the H-3, M-2, and M-21 Bulbs?

What size do you suggest that I use to increase the amount of Light in the Trunk?

Hope you can "Shed Some Light" on all of this!

SOLO-1

I dont exactly know where to find them, but knowing which bulbs is half the battle. You can check PIAA, im sure they have a website. Or even a place such as Nopi.com. Make sure you get SUPER WHITE bulbs though, nothing less will do.

Gene - Every so often, I get what seems like a "Bright Idea" at the time, but under further review, can some times put me in Harm's Way.

You've caused me to see the "Light", so I'll restrict my available Optional Bulb Upgrades to those that my Selling / Servicing Dealer can recommend, approve, and install.

Other than those "Neat" Japanese Produced Up-Grade Wheels that one of our other Club Members / Owners displayed herein for us this past week, I plan on staying with my subltle Gold Trim Upgrade OEM Wheels. They look pretty cool against the Onynx Black Finish, with 16 zillion (+ /-) Coats of Zaino stuff!

On my SC400, I replaced my lamps with PIAA SuperWhites.
(I haven't tried the Xtreme White Plus bulbs.)
The cool thing is that they don't require ANY additional power (same wattage as the originals).

I used Auto Supermart:

I've been thinking of replacing the fog lamps with the Ion Crystal H3's, which will make them "amber". I thought it would be cool with the (way dark) green. Opinions?

I'd still like to get to those side bulbs on the headlamps. I have no idea what they are. I had the same issue with the SC400's -- there was one interior bulb that I didn't see an external jack for.

Some people like the Solaris bulbs. They claim to have a higher "K":
