Exclamation Ever seen a rubber bungee cord in the street?

. . . and who hasn't? My daughter ran over one on the highway and it stuck in her rear tire. The bungee cord whipped around like a string trimmer with a steel hook. It instantly dented everything it could reach. Yeoouch! It even ripped off pieces of her door handle. She said you wouldn't believe the sound!! Oh, and the hook in her tire gave her a flat. No it wasn't an SC but I just wanted to give everyone something to think about the next time you see "something" lying in the street.

Oh, man sorry about the damage! I've seen some crazy things on the road like desks and even a 4 foot shock absorber (swear it fell out of a 747)...but man that sucks ...

Sorry to hear that Bon. Who knew a bungee cord could do so much damage. Will your insurance cover it under the comprehensive coverage?

Luckily we do have comprehensive on the car. Unluckily, we have a $500 deductible. Luckily, my daughter has a job so she's good for it!

Tromly you're a good man, but you should squeal the tires on the second time around.

Bon sorry to hear about the ordeal. Never would have thought something like that could happen. Hope all turns out well.

This years total for rattlers is 3, and I use Steddy's approach of doing a burn out on them. Peals the skin right off

Remember once upon a time according to Darwin we crawled out of the sea. Snakes are just another one of gods creatures. Unless were talking about a Tiger Snake!!

I also kill scorpions, tarantulas, black widows, and centipedes, consistent with Darwin's theory of survival of the fittest....
