Default Taking the Top down with a REMOTE?

First and foremost guys,

I want to thank all of you for assisting in this widebody project. you have all given great advice, and most of you have bought some parts off me to help finance this build as well!
currently we are working on:

retrofitting additional projectors in the headlights
finishing up the last coats of paint
sending the vehicle to get the stereo installed
replace the navigation system with something more up to date
custom fiberglass speaker enclosures
then TURBOS

once the vehicle is getting the stereo installed (thank you again, CDT Audio), i am going to get an alarm installed (i like the viper that i can open with my iPhone) and was hoping someone has some first hand knowledge on my next quiery:

has anyone been able to open the roof of the SC430 from a remote? looking to wire something up so i dont have to be inside the vehicle.
any help or advice would be helpful and i appreciate your assistance guys.
thanks and hope to hear from you soon!
joe

LMS make a remote roof/starter that quite a few people here including myself have.

aquanuke thanks for posting the link. I scanned through the install instructions-looks like a breeze! LOL

Commonly known as Luxlink. It's on my radar and very soon in my car!

Langsdale-Do a search you will see a ton of information about luxlink and experiences. We have several resident experts on this modification. $350-$450 is retail cost, plus install or you can DIY but I heard it is a major job--only for the very mechanically/electrically inclined.

Well I dont see it being any more useful like that as it works with your car key so you will always have your car key or your not going to go anywhere. Sounds a PITA if you have to operate car key, alarm fob and phone at all times.

I would install it as is to begin with, I think you will find that works best. And if need be you can look to change that after you have tried it.

good point. the new alarm system is obviously more sophisticated than the factory, and goes with my iphone. it includes remote start, etc etc. also im bypassing the key completely, so i was hoping to have everything in one. you know? but if working with the yet is the easiest way, so be it.
thanks again
joe
