Default 02 SC control arm bushing upgrade.

Hi guys, I was following the thread on the control arm bushing issues that azkaty had started. Since I have 2 SC's of 2002 vintage I am pretty sure they need to have the bushings done. My question is, does anybody on this site have an old set of control arms they want to part with? I have been doing some research and found a supplier for urethane bushings that can be ordered by size/dimentions. If I had an old control arm I could remove the old bushing and measure it up to see if I can order the urethane replacements. If this can be done it would make a world of difference in the handling of our cars. I would be more than happy to pay to have the old control arms shipped to me and if things work out the way I hope I would share the info and part numbers so other members can benefit from this upgrade as well. I really don't want to take one of my cars apart and have it sit for who knows how long before I can determine if this project will work or not.

I am sorry Bob did not get back to you! Our Lex tech got rid of the bushings, I believe.

Hey, no biggy, I'll keep looking and someone somewhere will come up with some. I really believe that upgrading the bushings can be done and will make a huge improvement in the ride and handling of our cars, not to mention the durability, uretheane last forever so it is fitting for a car with such a good track record for it's longevity!
