Would you all consider some of these convertibles???? Some of these one-time $40k+ convertibles might have rivaled our SC's in some way, maybe not. I don't consider the t-bird a competitor, but perhaps the A4 and Eos?
For me, I'd rather have an older 2002 or 2003 SC.
EOS...$18k 2005 I believe. Major chick car...I like the A4 better Very basic inside...but hardtop convertible. small engine unless you get the v-6. very basic looking with top up. g6 looks? notice pin stripe peeling yuk!
A4...2005 as well...$19k but a 1.8T Briggs and Stratton mower engine! LOL nice refinements inside...nice looking soft top. If you live where you get snow, the AWD quattro versions would be nice. S4 is the way to go obviously with the performance...not for this price though!
t-bird. v-8 power, slow...sagging rear end looks like it has the lincoln problem...cool moon window retro and grill. plush lincoln-like inside. just a roadster though, no backseat. HID headlights, chrome wheels, hardtop. pretty nice...$18k for a 2004 not bad???

I dont really like how these ones posted look.
I like the newest generation of benz SL's . Mercedes also recently made an SLK55 which I like way more than the SLK350s.
The cadillac SLR V is pretty nice too. You dont see that many of them and they're always eye catching.
Besides that all that comes to mind are m3/m6 convertibles

From the choices you posted, I would probably go with 1) A4 2) Eos 3) Thunderbird. I think the Eos could look really good with some rims, tint, lowering, etc. But when I was considering getting my SC, I also considered the Cadillac XLR (very close to getting this instead) and the SL500. I still wonder what it would've been like if I had gotten something other than my SC. Don't get me wrong, I love my SC but I sometimes wonder: What if? haha

I'd go with A4 or S6, Thunderbird then maybe just maybe the Eos. You just can't a golf bag in the Eos. Went to a dealer before buying the SC and I just couldn't get the bag in, so the Eos was out. Boy I'm I glad it didn't fit. But it does have a sun roof.

my friend has the last year of production of the t-bird.
i've always liked the shape of the A4 cabrio.
if only they came out w/ a hard-top A5 or A6.
scdroptop keeping it real and bringing the convertible pics and the ho-down on the lo-down on the streets, yo.....
