took a quick 1000 mile drive Friday

KaiserSea1,
Thanks for the reply. I would hope that your SC would get around at least a little better if you had more tread left on your tires, but maybe not.
Not exactly sure why it does not handle the snow better that it does. It is fairly
heavy, open differential, not too wide of tires....Maybe it is because most of these
SC's have performance tires and not all season?
I know what you are talking about with the gun in the car. I used to be a little hot
headed too but am much more even tempered now. I carry one of my Glocks wherever I go (except church. LOL!) and it actually makes me realize how much responsibility
I have legally carrying and maybe even shy away from situations even more than if
I did not carry. Like you, I prefer to run or drive away with my pride damaged a little
but not leaking bodily fluids from a hole produced by some weapon.
(I really feel better when I am with my wife. It lets me know that it would take a lot more of them to get to my wife if I have my little friend.)
Back on topic, My wife and I have discussed doing something similar to what you did. She wants to go to Charleston and stay a day or two. Then up to NYC for a few days, then maybe onto VT or DC to make a couple of weeks out of it. I told her that
would be a PERFECT trip for a 2006/2007 SC! She actually told me to go buy one
but I am a cash person and I do not have the available cash now for the purchase.
Who knows, maybe soon....
Blessings,
Brian

I'm glad to hear that there is somebody else out there who is a "cash person." My theory for a long time has been if I don't have the cash for it, I can't afford it. All that debt and all those interest (or lease - same thing) charges will drown you. I wish Congress thought along the same lines.
