personally, i'd keep looking. i wouldn't mind a car that was in a minor accident and repaired. but it sounds like this was in a major accident. they voided the existing warranty. and you can't get an extended warranty due to the accident. repairs can be very expensive on these cars. and that sounds likely on this particular car.

also, the passenger airbag and dash will probably cost a couple thousand dollars to repair. and that's probably just scratching the surface.

I'm not looking at this one any more. I thought about getting it for my old dad. I know for a fact he loves my sc430. However, he does not like my 20" Iforged and BBK kits etc...Stock stock stock is what he wants

currently there is a black 2005 available on ebay for $19995, score of 90 with autocheck, 88k on the odometer, no accidents. My opinion a better buy 1

Need help finding another SC? What is your price ceiling? Color combinations? A few of us have done some searches before for folks!

If $20k is your ceiling, you should be able to go all the way up to a high mileage 2005, but certainly a well maintained 2002-2004 with decent mileage. I would say the BEST possible option (since they didn't change too much from 2002-2005) would be finding an under 60k, well maintained one owner 2002-2003 for the best value. You should be able to do that...as long as, of course, you don't want a Neiman Marcus or Pebble Beach or rare color combo .
