17 inch rims
Anyone try putting 17 or even 16 inch rims, non-runflat on the SC 430? Seems like there would be room. Just looking for a softer ride and tires that don't pop on pot holes (well, if I forget to keep them at 35 psi or so).
thanks

I saw an SC430 before with the 06+ 17" GS 10-spoke wheels on them before. If you go 17" I would suggest going with a 225/50-17 setup. This is the tire size for the GS who also uses 245/40-18 for the 18" wheels (just like our SCs). I would assumed the dimensions/wheel well space would be similar. Let us know what happens.

Your suggestion seems like a good fit. Pretty much the same circumference. 225's are better too, since they are narrower, so they can take a bump better. I won't be able to reply for a while, since the run flats on the car I just bought are pretty much new. Car rides pretty smooth regardless, but not like a fat Cadillac, but I don't want to go there either, just make it a little smoother.
Nice to find this forum.
Thanks.
