Just got an SC430
Just got a 2003 SC430.
Amazing car, I absolutely love it.
2 questions, one dumb as hell.
How the heck do I get the gas lid open? It seems locked and I cant find a switch anywhere.
Can anyone recommend a place online to get floor mats for the this car?
Thanks!

There's a button on the left side of the dash that opens the gas lid. It's very low. You almost have to bend down to see it. It's right next to the button that opens the trunk lid. What kind of mats are you looking for? I have exact mats. They are clear plastic that are custom fit for your car. They completely protect your carpeted mats.

My car came with no mats at all, so I guess I am just looking for something to protect my carpet to start.

You can try Sewell. Enter a CL code for 10% or so discount.
You can try regular mats (black is most popular) and then protect them with "clear" exact mats.
Have fun with your new car.

ErikY-congrats! You should be able to get factory mats (I'd recommend black if you have ecru interior to match the dashboard, give your interior contrast AND keep them from looking so dirty) for $109 either on eBay or sewellpartsonline for nice OEM Lexus logo'd mats.
There are few cars that offer what the SC does. Even those of us who ventured away from the SC missed it so much they bought another (me) or still miss it even with a so-called better car! They are addictive. Wait till you start customizing it...
Most people do wheels/tires first. If you have run flats you probably have a jaw-chattering drive.
When you log into www.sewellpartsonline.com and buy the mats, you will add "clublexus" as the discount code when you check out in the shopping cart section.
Let's see some pics!
