Katy, does it make a difference what the outside temp is ? Did you work in the shade, sun or in a garage ? Thanks, looks like a great result !

Tromly, because of the paint fumes ( our hot water heater is NG and in the garage (stupid, but that's the way it is in AZ)..I painted outside, but in the shade..was about 68 degrees, and a little bit of wind, which is why I masked everything.....the most important part of this is to take your time, sand, wait to dry, and then move to the next step...Bob

We are very happy with the results! I think Bob has a new calling..leather repair!

Katy & Bob,
its been a while since ive been on CL but I see that you purchased a 2010 SC430. wow! must say Eboni sure is a beauty, congrats! what happen to Jade, i think that was her name, right? lol anyhow,Now on2 business; im tired of looking @ my sc430 horrid driver seat. I can tell the seat been touch up be4 but id really like to get rid of those cracks (which are extremely similar if not exact) to the you pictured in your earlier post. so i have 1 question be4 i attempt this tomorrow, how did u fill in the cracks? or did the sanding take care of the problem?
thanks again in advance,
-DAve

I wonder if this could be used on the headliner panel. Even though I have a Camel interior, the headliner is black. I'd like to have it lighter in the cabin and Lexus quoted me $3200 to change the interior black parts including the lights, sun visors, etc.. Not happening. Hmmmmm.

tromly, the outside tep.. does make a difference. Its best to use sems in tep.. above 65 degrees. A lot us with 1st gen.. sc have been using sems for a while. 76210guy, you can use it on the headliner but it might be less headache to buy a used tan one from taprecycling.com

Good suggestion Pearl2 - couldn't find the part there, but good idea nonetheless! I'll pull the part nos form the parts online database and see what I can find.
